Sarah Platenius’ essay, “Reassembly,” was a semi-finalist in 2024 for the Terry Tempest Williams contest, sponsored by North American Review. Her poetry and essays have appeared in North American Review, Orion, and Terrain. Her visual art has been featured in Camas Magazine and The Hopper, and exhibited at Federation Gallery, Sooke Fine Arts, Old School House Gallery, and Tofino Contemporary Art Gallery.
