I have been a part of the arts scene on the West Coast of Vancouver Island for 40+ years now. I am a recognized Artist of the area and carry the title of “Ucluelet’s Artist” with pride. I’ve been heavily involved with the Pacific Rim Arts Society out here for 30 years; was President 6 times and spearheaded many art events. I have won numerous Art Awards; most currently the Sidney Fine Arts Show Honorable Mention 2018 and have won the Dianne Farris Juror’s Award from the Sooke Fine Arts Show in 2010. I have been published in magazines and books, most recently in the Island Arts Magazine, Spring 2019.

I am fearless in my approach to my Art. I will not be pigeon-holed, yet I have a distinctive style. I am influenced by the wildness and exceptional beauty of this area and I adore the place I live. My town is a subject of an ongoing series and I have many murals around the businesses. There are also banners with my art along the roads. I have illustrated books, created many award winning posters and continue to be a part of the Arts out here as often and as much as I can. I am so very lucky to live my passion.
