My name is Germán Padrón I am a painter originally based in Mississauga, Ontario. I now live in Tofino, Initially drawn to the visual arts through the lens of film I enrolled at Toronto film school where I graduated from film production and was able to find my visual style. I have a strong passion for composition, colour theory and visual narratives.
Over time my creative path has evolved and I transitioned from the world of film to the realm of fine art, As an Artist I try to evoke a sense of surrealism with my work and try to capture moments of quiet introspection, offering a visual space for contemplation. The process for my work is one that often times involves meditating and allowing the sub-conscious mind to take over.
