Dakota Miller

Hi I’m Dakota the creator of Kodactus. The collages I make are all made from thrifted material that is then hand cut and paste.Much of my work is inspired by my home in Ucluelet, BC. It’s PNW with a whimsical twist.

I began my collage journey many years back during a difficult period in life. It was my escape, creating these fantastical little worlds. My work is an interplay between new and old, reality and fantasy alluding to child-like whimsy and feelings of nostalgia that remains ever present in today’s hyper-capitalistic world. Much of my work shows strong feminine symbols and the femme connections with nature.
