Grew up on a farm near Viking AB

From childhood loved to paint and draw.

Worked most of life as a nurse in small communities such as Jasper and many in Nunavut.

Attended workshops most notably Emma Lake - historically a retreat for many well-known artists.

Approaching 40 returned to school full time first for a certificate in Art and Design at Red Deer College then a BFA with distinction at the University of Calgary and finished with BEd from University of Alberta.

Travelled to England for a month of postgrad art courses at Chelsea College.

Painted and collaborated on a number of murals including one celebrating hockey and the Sutter brothers in Viking. Murals also in Okotoks and Fort McLeod.

Purchased my condo at Water’s Edge in 2014 and now live here  permanently.

Member of Pacific Rim Art Society and serve as treasurer. A studio painter but spend a lot of time sketching directly for nature to understand form, light and colour.
