Lynda is originally from Ontario; she has lived in B.C. since 2001. Shestudied Architectural Technology and Interior Design at SheridanCollege in Brampton, Ontario. Lynda worked as a kitchen designer andhad her own business as a home staging consultant. Now retired, Lynda pursued photography when walking along thebeaches and in the forests. Inspired by the natural beauty thatsurrounds her here on the island, Lynda started using this asinspiration when she was introduced to encaustic medium in 2013. Shealso uses her photography in her artwork. Lynda also enjoys includingfound treasures gathered when walking in nature. Lynda was selected to participate in and art residency in Venice, Italyin 2020 that was postponed until 2022. She has also done several localart residencies at local hotels.Lynda is an active member of the Township Community Arts Council inEsquimalt, B.C., Pacific Rim Art Society in Ucluelet, B.C. and Artsea inSidney, B.C. as well as the Federation of Canadian Artist.
